Oztech recently completed a full BMCS upgrade for the Australand head office in Rhodes. The design brief from the client was simple, improve the tenancy conditions and improve the base building NABERS rating within tight budgetary constraints.
Before works commenced tenant air conditioning complaints were averaging 45 per month and the NABERS rating was 1.5 stars. At the completion of the project in May 2011 the monthly tenancy complaint rate was below 15 for the month. The building was officially re-rated in August returning a new rating of 4.5 stars.
